Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.Articles

Son revisiones cortas de un tema en particular sobre la mastozoología ecuatoriana.
Los textos no son arbitrados, pero la pertinencia de su publicación es decidida por el Comité editor.
Short articles
Up to 3000 words.
Manuscripts are peer-reviewed in a double-blind system.
Scientific notes
Up to 1000 words.
They are short research contributions in any field of mammalogy.
Manuscripts are refereed by the Editorial Committee.
Technical notes
Up to 1000 words.
They are short informative (non-research) contributions in any field of mammalogy.
Manuscripts are published at the discretion of the Editorial Committee.
Artículos de opinión
Hasta 1000 palabras.
Son ensayos sobre algún tema en particular que comente sobre la mastofauna ecuatoriana.
Los textos no son arbitrados, pero la pertinencia de su publicación es decidida por el Comité editor.
Thesis abstracts
Up to 500 words.
They apply theses in any field of mastozoology knowledge.
Abstracts are not refereed, but the pertinence of their publication is decided by the Editorial Committee.

Mammalia aequatorialis, based on its open access policy, allows free downloading of the complete contents of the journal in digital format. The data collected from registered and non-registered users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. It includes information that makes communication possible for the editorial process; it is used to informs readers about the authorship and editing of content; it enables collecting aggregated data on readership behaviors, as well as tracking geopolitical and social elements of scholarly communication.
This journal’s editorial team uses this data to guide its work in publishing and improving this journal.
