The genus Neacomys includes 12 species of small rodents distributed between Panama and central Brazil and Bolivia; three of these species inhabit Ecuador. Neacomys rosalindae is an Amazonian taxon. Studies on Neacomys have focused on aspects related to systematics and genetics; and so far only one work has contributed ecological information. During the study we recorded 21 individuals of mice corresponding to one order, two families and six species, of which six records corresponded to N. rosalindae: two solitary individuals of undetermined sex and one gravid female that gave birth to three offspring. All three pups had no fur, their skin was gray-violet on the dorsum, with pink lateral flanks and belly: eyes closed and the length of head and body together was 35 mm per pup. We recorded parturition in October 2019.
